Our Programme

Growing competent and Confident learners

We strive to help children “grow up as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society” (Te Whariki, Ministry of Education, 2017).

Te Ruma Iti

Te Ruma Iti is a calm, nurturing, and loving environment for our youngest tamariki (6 months – 2 years old). We understand that the first two years of life are filled with rapid growth, discovery, and the development of secure relationships.

Our high Kaiako to tamariki ratio allows our qualified, caring Kaiako to provide responsive, individualised care that supports each child’s unique routines, interests, and developmental journey.

Through play, exploration, sensory experiences and meaningful interactions, we create a safe environment where infants and toddlers feel valued, confident, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

Te Ruma Nui

Te Ruma Nui is a vibrant and engaging learning environment where curiosity, creativity, and independence flourish. Designed for children aged 2 years- school age, this space encourages exploration through play-based learning, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences.

Our qualified Kaiako support children to build confidence, develop social skills, strengthen communication, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Our commitment to natural and sustainable resources, small groups size and high Kaiako to tamariki ratios offers authentic opportunities to build deep relationships and plan our programme guided by the interests of our tamariki.

To play, explore and discover with your friends is where those most important learning of all occurs. It is truly a magic place to be.
